I am stinky at remembering to blog! I’m going to try to be better about it!

This weekend we relocated to a new apartment that resides in our friends backyard.

We still have about ten boxes to unpack/purge. But we are really loving the new place. It is small in size but big in love! I can’t wait to make it more homey. More our own. We need to convert my old desk into a kitchen island/table, and we need a tall dresser and/or tall bookshelf. Apparently hobbits made all of our furniture :/

I’m stoked to be adding a little one to our family in February! I can’t stop smiling, especially now that I’m not puking every ten seconds. :)

My dreams are filled with cloth diapers, baby clothes, cradles and murals.
This is a photo of Marshall, Baby B, and I. I’m only 13 weeks here I believe? Saturday I’ll be 20 weeks! Someone come take some decent pictures of my belly!

My friend Amanda is home!!! She and her husband were missionaries to China up until last week when they received some big news. She has leukemia. It was and still is a shock to them and everyone they know.

Keep her and her family in your prayers as they seek Gods will for a treatment plan.

Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny, warm day filled with a trip to the park, barbecue, some pretty awesome people, and eating sausage until I thought I’d bust. We even had an entire pack of sausage left over which made for an AWESOME breakfast. OH and I got my baby fix! Precious 2 month old baby Paul. I’m pretty much in love with his perfect nose, precious fingernails, and baby blues. Sigh. Can I just be a homemaker now please?

I know it’s weird, but I really really enjoy folding fresh clean laundry, especially if it’s my own clothes. I purposefully take as long as possible making each article as precise as possible. I love the way it feels, smells and looks. I like how orderly is it. I just really like having clean clothes to wear. Finally! :)
As much as I like how clothes feel right out of the dryer, I also like hanging clothes on the line outside in the spring and summer, even if it means my jeans are kind of crinkly and don’t smell quite as detergent-y. It just feels so nice to be outside and to see my dresses ruffling in the breeze. I want to take a picture every time I hang my clothes on the line. I even hang them in a certain pattern, that they look prettier…the longer items in the middle and the shorter items on the outside. I’ll put my own photograph of my clothes on the line soon…but here’s a generic on for now…

What is something you enjoy that might be considered unusual or odd?

A good day.

Even though I’m furiously trying to scrounge and beg and transfer money internationally, Today was still wonderful.

A friend here let me stay the night last night, we woke up early and then I went to the train station to try and figure something out with my ticket. Then I went to Western Union, and then bank after bank after bank, trying to get my small amount of euros sent to the bank I have at home. All of that so I can buy a plane ticket home. Well, I thought i had failed. But THEN I asked my friend about her bank, and wether she’d be willing to deposit my money and then transfer it to me from her account. YES. Ok, so that’s all in the process.

Also another amazing wonderfully lovely person from home is helping me out as well. (Thank you forever and ever)

SO fingers crossed, I may have the money for a ticket within the next couple of days. Once I have it then the cheapest tickets are 4-5 days out….SO 2 weeks max…I hope.

But anyways, it was a good day because I was able to be in the amazing sun and fresh air, cook, eat, sing, play piano, watch an adorable little baby, hang out with a very sweet girl, and now I’m about to go see some more awesome people.

I really have no idea how I would have gotten through this with out this awesome circle of friends here in frankfurt. You guys know who you are :) Thank you so much, I am so very much appreciative.
